I have noticed I have to keep adjusting the height of the implement on my tractor. I stored it with the plow 2 feet off the ground and came back two days latter and it was on the ground. Is this a problem I have to fix? Will I need a new pump? Is this something I can do myself?

Frank, I don't think you have a problem. It's best to lower the implement if you will be leaving it that long. If you must leave the implement in the raised positon use adjustable chains from the top link to the implement to take the pressure off your hydraulic system. A ITT manual will explain in detail how to trouble shoot your pump. I'm only 45 years old, which is younger than your TO-20 and I can't hold up my plow for two days either. :-)

Frank,
Doesn't sound like you've got a problem. None of the older tractors will hold an implement up when the pump's not running. Now if the implement won't stay where you put it when it's running, that's normal too. The Fergie only has draft control.
If you want position control I recommend the ZaneThang. See the archives for more info. I have one on my TO-20 and it's a good thing, as Martha would say.
