Ok ordered a oil filer from the dealer for the 1955 TO-20. Was a little different looking but was able to get it on. I have the model with the filer hosing on the side of the block. Now the issue. I am ordering some parts from this forum and was going to order another filer for next time. The only one they list is a 841244M91 and look just like the one I put in my hosing on the side of my block. The description states this one is for the one in the pan. Is there another filer for mine? If so anyone know the part number and where to get one? If I guess I better pull the one in my tractor before I run her.

OK was looking at the TO30 parts, looks like I have the hosing from the TO30. This makes me wonder if I have a TO30 engine? plate on the tractor about steering colum looks like TO XX 59852. the XX is scratched out and cant read. Is there anyway else to tell if she is a TO20 or TO30?

Thanks

bralos...look on the left side of your engine and see if there's an id plate on it. if so, give us those numbers and anything else you see on it. also...look for a stamping in the engine block on lower left side. z120 will be a to-20 engine, z129 will be a to-30.

the 20 and the 30 are very similar in a lot of ways and alot of parts are interchangeable. your numbers indicate to me that it's a to-20 late '51 model....i think.

INTERESTING! looks like I have a TO30 or a TO20 with a TO30 engine. Numbers on block are Z129A600N then CWC B273.

Thanks.

That's a casting number. There should be a data plate just below the cylinder head split line in the middle of the left hand side of the block. It'll tell you what engine you have. If you have a Continental engine with an external oil filter on the right hand side then it's a Z129.
