Shop Manual, Parts Manualanoperating maniual on CD

There's a guy on ebay selling a CD for the TO-20/TO-30/TE-20 that has the shop manual, the operating manual and the parts manual on it. Has anybody bought one or does anybody know anything about it? I wrote the guy and asked for some info but never got a reply. My previous experience on these types of CD is that they are not easily searchable. I have one for the wife's Subaru and the files are all numbered but not identified in any other way. If you want to find the water pump info, you have to find the cooling system file, which consists of a bunch of numbered files, and open them up one at a time to find the one that has the water pump. As result it takes a long time to find anything. God forbid you want to find some thing on the emmision controls! There's about 20 files.
I like the idea of having them on a CD because you can copy the appropriate pages and take them out to the shop and if you get grease all over them it's no big deal. My shop manual has blood, coffee, grease, and unknown gobs of stuff on it and will soon become unreadable!

Al,

I have often wondered about how these CD's are set up. I got Bid Dean's CD and it is as Jerry said, just a bunch of files, but at least BIG Dean's CD is org. in well labeled folders and well labeled files.

Is you just a bunch of PDF files of the pages or does it have a HTML set up so you can link from page to page to get to the files.

Jeff. Mine is set up just like a book. Picture breakdown picture page and then the next page is the page with part numbers and which part fits which TO, TE, TEA and 8N. some sizes are given when it comes to seals and bolts, and which can be crossed from tractor to tractor. Contact me on the backburner. I have quite a few of these out and have had no complaints.
