Seperate the axle housings?

Do i have to seperate the axle housings to change the pins that connects to the lift arms underneath the tractor?Or can i get to them by removing the PTO?Had it all opened about 8 years ago but can't remember or just didn't notice at the time how to remove them.Plus i have amnesia on where i put my manual.

just a thought, when you pull the quarter or axel housing remove the other rear wheel or you will damage the axel seal on the other side I learned this the hard way. seems the pig will move just enought to allow the axel to shift and damage the seal when you pull the axel from the diff. as I said just a thought

Mine are bent so i wonder if i should change them before they break off and fall in the housing?Thanks very much for the imput.

You can get to both pins by removing only the left housing and removing the differential.

I'm afraid you have no choice but to remove the housing.
