What kind of starter does a Ferguson TE-20 with code TE66421 need? Does anyone know where on the internet one can be bought? Thanks

I took mine to a starter repair shop and they rebuilt it for me. Around $75, but not sure about cost.

TE-20 tractors prior to TE 200001 use a starter with the Ferguson part no. 829 853 M91 per the Ferguson Parts Manual. I'm not positive but I believe it's a Lucas starter

You have a 1948 TE20? 6 Volt system?

Just had a look - I think you need Part No 829853M91.

Alternatively, the Sparex Part No appears to be S.60351. The Sparex web site lists their dealers.
