Throw Out Bearing

Is there a way to lube the throw out bearing on a 1955 TO-35 Deluxe? Not going to take off the bottom plate if its a waste of time...

It is a sealed bearing and no provision for lube. What usually causes the bearings to fail is riding with your foot on the Clutch pedal and doing it when you have lots of engine revs on. If you are not using the clutch take your foot off and put it on the footrest. Lots of operators get into this bad habit. The bearing will last a long time used sensibly.

No, they are sealed (unless uou have a different one than I have seen). However, you can grease the carrier shaft(the shaft that the bearing and carrier slide on.
