Hello everybody,

I was wondering if there is some information on TED tractors, which run on petroleum (paraffin-oil?). I have seen there is enough information on the diesel tractors. Has somebody information for me about wiring diagrams for example. Any help is appreciated....I have also troubles finding out which year it comes from, because there is no plate on it anymore...
Thanks!

The Data plate should be on top of the Steering box - just below the Steering wheel. It often gets painted over and lost. Chemical paint stripper will take any paint off then you can see the Serial number. TED-20 were first made in 1949 up till 1956.

Re Wiring diagram - please remember that this is an old UK manufactured product and that it is POSITIVE EARTH (unless someone has converted it).

Best advise I can give is to get a Manual for your tractor. I have posted a message on this site in answer to "TED-20 Manual" (page 3 of message list) that details where you can buy a reproduction of the original manual and publisher's details etc to get one through a bookshop closer to your home.

We've just finished rewiring a TED20 today, so what do you want to know? It's a piece of cake, really. If it's a 12V system, run the negative to earth on each component.
