I am rebuilding the engine on a TEA 20 and need the torque value for the rod caps and head. Thanks

Rod caps....50 - 55 Cylinder head...60 - 65
If you want the tightening sequence for the head and manifold email me at:- fergusontractor(at)tiscali.co.uk
do make sure before you refit the head that the liners are standing proud of the block face by .005" - .011" if it isn't within this tolerance the gasket may leak or blow. It may be necessary to replace the gaskets under the liners. Do not turn the engine over unless you clamp the liners down or they may move and disturb the gaskets, if you do the gaskets WILL leak water into the oil pan. You may need to reset the engine governor depending on the way you stripped the head from the engine, if you need this information, just ask for it....John
