Radiator Hold Down Bolts - TO30

Happy New Year to all! It's not that I'm doing a true professional restoration on my TO30, but the 2 carriage bolts on the bottom of the radiator that hold it to the front pivot axle are they flat headed or domed/rounded? There was one of each on either side when I took if off. 50 years of rust I'm going to replace them but I was just wondering which I should use?

I used the plow bolts and they work perfectly, the shoulders are just a little bigger than a carraige bolt and fit the slot perfectly.

They are listed in the parts book as a 7/16"x 1 1/4" NF Carriage Bolt. I usually use a 7/16" x 1-1/2 NC Carriage. If the length really bothers you. You can hack off a 1/4 inch.

I believe they are 7/16 carriage bolts, just replaced them on my 35 and they are the same on the Fords as well

I'm doing the same thing as you are and I can't say for sure, but I put the domed one's back on mine. It would about have to be a plow bolt to have a square shoulder and a flat top. It seems like the standard carriage bolt is correct. Have a great New Year!
