Looking for a Z120 crankshaft

The TE-20 I bought developed a bad knock so I took it apart. The crank was wore real bad. I took it in to my machinist and he magnafluxed it and found a large crack that goes half way thru. I'm looking for another crankshaft. The crank from any 20 series will work. TO-20, TE-20, TEA-20. They are all the same. Can you help? Thanks.

If you are not in a big hurry, keep an eye on Ebay for a few weeks for a Z120 crank. There are parts for Fergys listed on there pretty regular from folks that are parting them out. A Z129 crank (from a TO30) won't work, you need a crank from a Z120, which was on the TO-20 & TE20 only.

A crank from a Continental (TO20/TE20)will not fit into a Standard Motors engine (TEA) You can buy a crank from Sparex as part S42843 they also supply the bearings. You can also buy the crank from this site too. Click on parts above.

You may want to do some additional checking about interchangeability.

My MF parts books says the crank for the TE/TO-20 is part # 1 750 280 M1 while the part # for the TEA is 825 216 M1.

The TE/T0-20 engines were Continentals while the TEA's was a Standard engine. I'd hate to see you buy the wrong crank.
