I have a 55' to 35 it needs a tach cable.The old is broke. Can a Massey Ferguson dealer get this part? Would any one else have it? CT Farm&Country shows one for the MF 35&135 diesel.Could it be what I need? Any help would be appreciated.Thanks

My tach cable also broke. All I did was go to the auto parts and got a universal replacement cable. You cut it to the length you need then glue on the end connector. It all comes in a kit for around $8.00. I replaced mine a couple of years ago and it is holding up just fine. Hope this helps

Most of the available off-the-shelf tractormeter cables for Ferguson TO-35s don't fit the 1955s, nor do the ones for diesel models. The correct length is 34-21/32"). I had one custom-made (reasonable price) two years ago by the following:
