TEA20 Ignition Switch

I purchased the Ignition switch from Sparex, the one that is suppose to fit a TEA20.

The hole for the old switch is larger than the hole required for the new switch.

First question; Should this switch match the existing hole?

Second question: If the hole being too large is acceptable, how did others make the hole smaller?

I put an auto switch on mine and had the same problem. Used a couple of thin washers. Works for me.

take it back, I bought my switch at local dealer, perfect fit.
