I removed the steering assembly from 1952 TO30 parts tractor, I'm about to change seals and I noticed that the steering arms are a little thinner, twisted, flared out as opposed to the steering arms on the burned TO30 of unknown origin. The burnt 30 forgings are heavier, and straight. I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this? The 1952 distributor serial# 1111740-2B18, the serial # from burnt one is 1111740-2F13. I could salvage only the left side arm and gear because someone broke the right side then over welded it but it worked I guess. I also found hand stamped between the steering housing and starter safty switch E3134... What's that for? Thanks for your input. Mike

E3134? - that brings back memories - it"s the part no for classic Triumph twin m/cycles racing camshaft. Guess that won"t help you much, but couldn"t resist passing on a little useless information ...
