hi, I have a feguson TO-35 with power steering, the power steering works good as long as I keep the resivor full but it is pushing all of the power steering fluid out of the breather ontop of the steering box, What would be causing it to do this and how can it be fixed; Is there a reair kit for it or parts to fix it avalable and where can I get them. The oil could also be leaking from the Control Valve which is in the box too. There are some parts available including the valve and some seals from Sparex. I have the Service Information for this steering that tells you how to set it. If you need it email me at:-

There isn't supposed to be any power steering fluid in the steering gear box. Its getting there from a bad piston rod seal on the power steering cylinder that's bolted to the gear box. You'll need to take a lot of stuff apart to get there. When I needed to rebuild the cylinder on my MF-135, the seal kit was quite reasonably priced from my local MF dealer. I don't know what the situation is today especially since my "local" MF dealer is 50 miles away.
