I have the tie rods off the tractor and the new boots. The front ones seem pretty simple but the rear ones are not. Is there some way to take the ball assembly out to put the boot on or do you try to stretch the new boot on over the metal between the bolt end and ball assembly? I see no way to take apart and know there must be an easy way to do this. Anyone?

The front and rear joint should be the same to fit, they can be awkward to fit if you haven't done them before. Just make sure that the groove the rib on the rubber boot sits in on the joint is clean, so that the rib will sit in and lock in. Press the rib in at one point and then using a thin smooth round rod, drag the rib of the boot into the groove, like fitting a tyre. If you have unscrewed any on the joints in the rods then you will need to re-track the steering, ask me for the information on how to do that if you need it. The joints do not pull apart.
