TO 20 underdrive

I have a 6 1/2 foot belly mower under my TO 20. Low gear is to fast when it rains to much. Does anyone know where I can find an underdrive to slow it down? I need to do clutch and rear main seal repair this winter, and would like to slow it down at the same time. Thanks DK

It is called a Reduction Gearbox. Under those conditions in which you are trying to cut, your mower is too wide, 60" is the recommended width for your horsepower. Do keep the blades sharp as having dull blades absorbs a lot of horsepower plus it will make a cleaner cut, make sure you also keep the blades balanced or they will vibrate your machine. You may find that even with a reduction box that you wont have the correct gear speeds for what you are trying to do.

Horse power is no problem! It has a 289 Ford V-8 in it. About 200 hp. The mower is hydraulic drive with a pump on the crankshaft, and gear motor on the blades. Works great, but the ground speed is a little to fast. I mow 11 acres in 3 1/2 hours. We have had 11 inches of rain here (Eastern SD) in the last 4 weeks, and I don't have time to mow every 4 days. DK
