My TEA20 starts fine,runs fine for hours, but starts to sputter miss and sometimes stall on an incline. Any suggestions?

Check to make sure that you have a fat bluish spark by pulling the center high tension lead out of the distributor cap,hold it about 3/a6 " from a good ground, and with the key on, attempt a start. If you have a fat blue spark, your ignition is OK.If you have a yellowish or orangey weak spark, find out why. If you have a fat, blue spark check the fuel delivery systemto make sure that you have adequate fuel supply to the carb. Remove the drain from the fuel bowl on the carb, open the tank valve, and holding a can under it to catch the fuel. Look for a CONTINUOUS gush of fuel. If you have that I'd suspect your float needs adjusting or you have some problem with the float valve and you'll have to remove the carb to check that. Also make sure that your carb mixture is adjusted properly.

Happening on an include leads me to suspect crud swishing around in your tank, and blocking off the outlet.
