Hi,
I have an TEF 20. I have used a plough and a cultivator on the back. The problem i have is that i cannot get it to dig in. The lever is set to the bottom. Is there any adjustable screws to set its depth?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

If a plough wont go into the ground, there can be two reasons for this, the top link is too long and it has the plough running nose up, so it will never dig in. The top link on a TE or TO series should be 25inches from the centre to centre of the pin holes on either end, you can of course shorten that slightly to make the plough go in if it is hard ground, no more than an inch or the plough will be running nose down on the front furrow but the rear one will not be at the same depth. The most important reason that it wont go in the ground is that the plough shares are worn and are just skidding over the top of the ground. If you look at the plough shares from the left side of the plough, the front of the share should have a positive curve down on the nose of the share, this is the "suck" that pulls the plough into the ground, if it is worn away the plough will never enter. Something that we have this year and have never had for a long time is that the ground is hard and dry due to lack of rain, you cant plough if it is like concrete. If the lever is right at the bottom of the quadrant the tractor is not controlling the plough, you need to look at the plough for the problem.
