My TEA20 Ser# 289341 Stearing seals leak at the stearing box end any one know how to remove the arms to replace the seals??

You can replace the seals without removing the Steering box if you are prepared to sacrifice the look of your tractor slightly. On each steering arm there is a point where the arm was held in the lathe while it was turned, this is at the top, in the centre of the part that comes out of the steering box, if you grind this off, the seal will fit without getting damaged as it would if you tried to pass it over this point without grinding it off. The only other way is to remove the steering box. You should change the oil while you are doing this repair, suck out all that you can and refill with engine oil. Check the top bearing under the steering wheel is ok and adjusted correctly (No lift) and that the seal preventing water entering is in good order.

George, you must remove the steering box from the transmission. Identical replacement seals aren't available; however, the following seal # will work: CR13027. It is available from bearing and seal retailers (check yellow pages).
