TEA 2085 - Finding replacement springs for Lucas distributor centrifugal advance is difficult. I have found a source; however, they are specified for'68-'76 TR6 or TR250. They look similar in the photo I have but I haven't been able to get the 'mic'd'. Any idea if they'll work?

Thanks

Sorry I have no idea, I would be guessing. Never having had the need to do that I don't have any information. I have looked through the Service Manual but it gives no specification for that spring, other than saying the spring with the elongated eyelet is the stronger one.
Philbin Manufacturing, 28 N.Russell St. Portland, Oregon.(503) 287 1718 or 1-800-869-7301 may be able to help, they recondition these distributors and have helped quite a few from the Forum in the past.
