Tea 20 To John Mike and Jim

The number you gives tells that it is an engine built by Standard Motor Company in England.

But, it does not tell if it is a TEA 20, or TED or other numbers.
However, if you lives in the US, not many other models than TEA 20 were sent there from England.
So, I would say it is most likely a TEA 20.
What I am trying to say is that it can in theory be a TEC 20, a TED 20, a TEE 20, or others too. But very unlikely. It is just that the engine number does not tell.
If it is a TEC 20 it would have the same engine as a TEA 20, but the axles would be shorter to make a narrow tractor. But that is something you will see for yourself.
A TED 20 would have the same engine numbers, but would have 2 fuel tank caps to use both gas and kerosene.

So, if you can find out if your tractor has a standard width, and is using plain gas / petrol, then it is definately a TEA 20
