I found the engine serial no. on the left side of the block on a plate. S77390E. I've scraped a lot of paint off several locations but I'm not having much luck finding the tractor's serial number. On the left side of the steering shaft cover I found the number 85375. Is there any way to link engine serial numbers to model or year of manufacture? Thanks,

The only place you will find the tractor's serial number is on an aluminium plate just in front of, and below the steering wheel. If it starts TEA then it's petrol. TED it's petrol/paraffin, TEF is diesel. If this plate is missing, as I suspect, you have no chance of getting a date of build for your tractor. The number youve found on the steering shaft cover is just a casting number and of no significance. Hope this is of help Regards, Pete.
