To-20 Filter Tube Assembly--Hole size in tube ?

Finally got a used filter tube but the one little hole in it is dinged over and wounder if anyone knows the print specified size ? Also wondering how critical it is in reguard to oil flow threw the filter.
AND for the get the information people. When was the change from the tube being externally threaded rather than internally taped and the related round and flate covers ?

I don't know the hole size, and don't see it in any info that I have, but my recollection is the hole is darn small, less than 1/16" for sure. With any luck, maybe someone out there has their TO tore down right now and can measure that hole somehow.

The only oil actually feeding the filter is what comes through the center main bearing, so very little oil is actually passing thru the filter anyway.

My personal opinion is the filter is less critical than the screen, which is doing most of the work, preventing trash from being sucked into the oil pump. Another personal opinion is that hole size is probably not super critical as the oil is being metered into the center main via the oil ports and the bearing clearances in the main, so even if you drill too big a hole, it won't hurt your oil pressure, or starve your main bearing of oil. Sorry, can't help you on the threading question.
