Anyone know where I can order a throttle cable for my to-35, It seems to be froze up. The tractor has been in the shed for 15yrs. I threw a battery in it and it cranked over but did not start. No surprize I plan on cleaning out he gas tank & such. Any other suggestions to get her running. IT was grandpa tractor & I don't have Much money. Thanks

After sitting 15 years, your point Dist. will need a look at. At least the contact points will need a point file run across them. Good Luck. and let us know when she fires up! Gregg/Dayton (TO-35)

Are you sure it has a cable to operate the throttle. I think that you will find it is all steel rod linkage. The most likely place it is stuck is under the dash panel on the end of the long rod that passes over the engine, under the fuel tank, the friction disc is here and this is where it will be stuck. The will be a short steel link rod from the throttle lever attached to it. If you look at the back of the air cleaner there is a spring under compression, just slacken it off and it may just break the seal where it is seized. Don't forget to compress the spring again when you have got it moving again or the lever wont hold in position.
