it's a 12 vt. system using a Delco 10SI alternator. I bought a rebuilt Delco 10SI alternator from Cabes Starter and Alternator in North Fort Worth and exchanged the toasted alternator for a core. $ 60.54 and now I'm fixing to wire it up. Theres not that many wires to this set-up, maybe 3-4 wires total cause there are no head or tail lamps. I'm going to add a oil pressure guage and tempeture guage and send my nephew back to Tractor Supply in Decature where he purchased a 6 vt. battery and have him exchange it for a 12 vt. battery and if the stars and moon will align correctly for me this week just maybe I can have it ready to take back out to my nephews house and get him off of my IH 455 front end loader before he breaks something expensive on that tractor..
