Would like to buy an original TO-20 Battery cover for my restoration. I would also be interested in a reproduction if available.

I don't suppose you are interested in selling the battery cover?

Mike, guess no one is going to answer so will give you my take on battery covers. These seem to be fairly rare as some people found them a nuisance and removed them, others corroded especially the batt hold down frame which the cover was hinged to, so were removed for that problem. If you are really lucky, a salvage yd may help you. Collectors and restorers are most probably not going to have extras, as many people are looking. Of course, ebay is another spot to keep checking. And then you may only find the cover, but you can find a metal frame in auto parts stores that you can use to attach the cover to with some tubing and a hinge pin of some sort.
There was a try at reproducing them a couple of yrs ago but didn't work out.
