Anybody know if you can get a proofmeter to work on a 12v sys? Someone told me that is needs to run through the generator to work...
Also, anybody even know where to buy a new proof meter? I have looked everywhere with no luck!

Thanks alot!

Jason

When you say "proof meter" do you mean an hour recorder or one that will show engine revs too like they do on the later tractors on a large round gauge with a moving needle, that maybe driven through the generator but not always. You would have to get a generator with a drive on the rear to do that. If you just need a simple one the will show the hours when stopped and the revs when running. simple to fit...$45
