I've just replaced the original 1.125" PTO shaft with the larger 1.375" one. Obviously the TE belt pulley will not now fit. Can I therefore use an MF35 pulley instead, ie are the locating studs in the same positions?

I also need a couple of new locating/check chain anchor studs, does anyone know the size/length of these studs, I know they are UNF/UNC.

Yes you can use the later 35 type belt pulley on a TE series tractor, no problem. You can use the old belt pulley on the new PTO shaft too, you need a PTO extension that converts the PTO shaft to the old size and a spacer block. The spacer is a block with 4 stud holes that allows the Pulley unit to stand away from the tractor enough to allow for the PTO extension and you have to use longer studs. This was done for the 35 when it was introduced so you could use it with the old style pulley. I have pictures if you need them.
