I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF ANYBODY HAS ANY INFORMATION, OR HAS TRIED THE "ZANE THANG POSITION CONTROL". IT CLAMS THAT IT GIVES THE LIFT CONTROL THE ABILITY TO HOLD AT ANY HEIGHT. THE WEB SIGHT IS WWW.ZANETHANG.COM. IF ANYBODY HAS ANY INFORMATION ON THE PRODUCT LET ME KNOW.

J.Sherril-- I am sorry to say my experience with the Zane Thang position control has NOT been a good one, it's a waste of money. It does NOT hold position because any load (especially scraper blade) will yank it around and the hydraulic lift reacts too slow for it to do any good.
It also is TOTALLY in the way of the lift arm leveler, which you can't use. Maybe there's something wrong with my hydraulics but I have tinkered and adjusted this "thang" until about doomsday and it won't set right. I followed his instructions to the t and still won't work. Big problem is the red stamped steel "bracket" that is supposed to fit around the right-hand lift arm, but it doesn't so keeps moving/bending out of place all the time. A real pain!
The idea seems sound--a rod to provide feedback to the lift arm lever; you might try looking at one and try to cobble one up yourself, it looks about $10 worth of materials.
I had hoped it would work, but it didn't.
Sorry to be the only dissenting opinion and I don't mean any harm to Mr.Zane, it seems to work just fine for some people, could be my TO-30 hydraulics need overhaul.

I bought my zanethang in march 2000. It's the best and cheapest thing I have bought so far.Read the artical archives on the zanethang,then give zane a call.

I bought and installed a "Zane Thang" on my TO-30 about two months ago. It is simple, it works, and is well worth the price.

J. Just above your inquiry on the forum there is a small window that says "search for". Type in the word "Zane" and click on "go". This will take you to every archived discussion on the "Zane Thang".
