I found the answer. I was worried about the oil pressure. 50 - 60 psi when cold, less than 20psi when warm.

I found a entry in a service manual that says 20 - 30 is normal for warm, miminum of 15psi.

I am above 15, so I am less anxious.

Thanks.

On a Standard Carb. engine it should be 40 - 60 when hot at working speed, 20 at idle is ok, you can adjust the relief valve on top of the oil filter that may boost it slightly, don't overdo it though. Make sure that you have the correct grade of oil in the engine and that the filter has been changed.

I ran my TO for years with ~10 PSI hot, maybe 25 psi cold. I checked my engine inside and out for wear when I rebuilt it, didn't hurt a thing.

There are hundreds of work tractors running around with oil pressure just like yours.

Use good oil and work that TEA! Your fine!

George
