Need to find screw in caps for Lucas distributor

I have a Lucas distributor on my TEA-20 and I can't find the screw in plugs for the spark plug and coil wires. Are they availiable or am I in serious trouble? Any substitutes?

They are sometimes called "acorns" because of their shape. Sparex don"t seem to do them separately, you can buy them with a new cap (part # S41169) and from the illustration it looks as though they are part of Ignition leads set S42375. You don"t say what part of the world you are in, if you are in UK there are suppliers of these "acorns" separate from the caps.

The 'plugs' you refer to are called 'acorns', and I believe your local Sparex agent should be able to obtain a set for you. If you have no luck come back to me as I believe I have some lying about somewhere in the workshop.

I went to the Sparex website. They have a location here in Ohio where I am. Unfortunately they don't retail. They gave me the name of one of there distributors located in MI and they had everything that I needed. The parts should be here Monday. That makes me very happy. I don't feel so dumb for losing the old parts. Thanks for the heads up on Sparex.
