TO-30 compression

Does anybody know how much compression I should be getting out of a TO-30. Each cylinder tested out at 123psi. Is this bad, fair, good , excellent.

If it's taken on a warmed up engine with the throttle valve wide open, 123 psi is very good. Respectfully, it's hard to believe you mesured exactly 123 psi on each cylinder with no variation between cylinders. That's unheard of.

Yes, I did have one cylinder that was about 120. I had know idea what the psi should be or what is normal or new. Apparently nobody knows except for you what does good mean. Or better yet what should it be if it was new?

If you look at the post by gshadel above, after a rebuild he was getting 120-130 and that sounds like a reasonable number to me. I'm still somewhat surprised by the low variation between cylinders. 3 psi is a small difference.
