I have a problem with my pto shaft and seal assembly matching the sparex cat. I have a 195763m1 seal. it measures 5/8 thick ( not dia. ) the one I took out is 7/8 thick! I have 2 snap rings , ( the same size & dia. ) one to hold in the seal and one hold the bearing. My pto shaft is 1 3/16 with a 1 5/8 slug over it to set in the seal ( no wonder it leaked ) I just got this to-30 and in the process of getting it ready for paint.there was alot of oil and dirt at the pto shaft outlet. has anyone else come across this same situation??? or does anyone know way I don't match the catolog diagrams???

Just check the size of the pto shaft that sticks out the back end of the tractor and that will tell you what it is. If it is 1-3/8" 6 splines it is a Sparex S280 conversion kit and the parts are listed in the catalogue, if you have difficulties sorting them out, email me at fergusontracors(at)tiscali.co.uk and tell me what you need and I will sort the numbers for you, I have most of the lists. Re the slug type bushing, not sure what you mean by that but I am sure that you can explain, maybe we call it something else...John

I misspelled the email address, it should read:-fergusontractors(at)tiscali.co.uk

and the spell-check missed it too.

Has your tractor been fitted with the 1-3/8" 6 spline shaft instead of the original 1-1/8" 6 splined shaft. If it has you will have to use the alternative seals/bearings etc. from the replacement PTO shaft kit.
