Hey Guys,
I'm in the process of doing some tuning up of my 1952 TEA 2085. At present I am just begining; replaced plugs etc and wanted to check the compression. Does anyone know or know where to get the cylinder compression specs for the gasoline version of the standard motor company engine with 85 mm cylinder bore. I've looked on this site and can get the specs for the TO20 but not for the English version. I know that it's probably more important that the 4 cylinders have similar compression but I was just wondering what the specs said they should be. If there are any discussions concerning this that I didn't pick up in my search of ths site, just point me in the right direction and I'll do another search.
Thanks,
Ron

The compression should be, using a good fully charged battery and with the engine in good condition 90 - 100 lbs psi.
