Plow Points to fit Ferguson plows model 12 B

Does anyone know where to find replacement points to fit the older model Ferguson plows. Mine are model 12B and have good mouldboards but need points.

Look in the archives. There are several sources. One source is Scott at Sweigard Bros in PA. You can search on that and find references to him and his phone, email, etc. There are some others as well. You will need the number off the back of the plow share, or off the back of the moldboard, to get the correct part. The serial number on the plate on the beam will not help much.

Thanks for the reply Phil. I have a TO 20 restored and wanted to restore these plows to go along with the tractor. Since there was no one locally that I could find that carried these plow points I had resigned myself to the fact that they were probably not available and have left them in the brush for a number of years. Thanks for your help and reply.

Scott is very helpful, and very knowledgeable. There are other sources as well. Also, I have had some luck finding these plow parts at local (to me) dealers who have boneyards and will let you wander thru their stuff. There are a couple of these in the Chesterfield - Petersburg, VA area.

Scott sent me the plow points that I needed and they are already installed. Other parts I would like to find are the whole coulter assembly. I have the chains with one mount and that is all. Have you got any good prospects? Petersburg is about 1 and 1/2 hours from me so that is not out of the question. Thanks again.

There's a guy named Joe Erb and I think he is in Sugar Creek, OH. I don't think he is on the web, but you might find a phone number for him by doing a search. I have bought plow parts from him. I think he makes some of them. Sorry, I don't have my records handy to give you a phone number, but I think you can find it.
