I saw the post on using windshield washer fluid in tractor tires and I'd like to do that.

Does anyone have a good DoIt yourself method worked out

Believe me I have tried and when I did it comes out way to small to read. Thats why I have to do it e-mail. There has even been others that have tried for me and it still come out to small so e-mail is the only way if you want to read it. Has to do with this web sites space for pictures etc.

Yes, I do. You can get a fitting at Tractor Supply that adapts a garden hose to the valve stem on the tube. I also obtained a pump, that uses a drill motor for power, from Home Depot. I used anti-freeze. Pumped two gallons of anti-freeze into the tube. Then I hooked up the garden hose to the faucet and filled the tire up with water. We normally don't get zero temps in East Tennessee. This mixture has been fine the past 3 years. With the washer fluid, you'd just have to run the pump long enough to pump the tire full. Gonna be slow, I'd think.

Harbor Freight has a 1" well pump for about $40. It can be adapted to a garden hose and works well. It will move about 3-4 gallons per minute on average. That's fast enough to fill two 16.9-38 tires in less than an hour. It's not going to happen that fast with a gravity feed.

Saw your post from the outside so to speak and figured I would jump in where I never have before. Drop me an e-mail and I can send you a page from a 1935 owners manual that will explain how to fil tires with fluid. This method will work on any fluid you want to put in to a tire. I'm one of the poeple on the other forums that says to use wiper fluid also.
