T035 Tractor - Oil in the starter??

I just replaced all the electrical on my Ferguson T035 tractor. I removed the starter and noticed that there was oil all inside of it. I cleaned this out and took it in to be tested, they said that the starter was still good. I cleaned it up and put back on my tractor, ran my tractor for about an hour and noticed oil coming out of starter housing. Now my tractor won't start and I had to tow back home. Any information would be very helpful because I have done everything that I could think of to fix this problem.

Oil pan not overfull? Sounds like rear main leaking. Less likely, gearbox front oil seal. What colour is oil?

Oil overfull on dipstick and the colour of the oil is still fairly new looking. I just changed the oil in my tractor approx. summer timeframe. I"ve been working on this tractor for the last 2 1/2 months, it"s been sitting in my garage because of the weather. Would the overfill of the oil cause the excess to fill up in the starter? Could it be a fuel problem? I haven"t checked the spark plugs for spark yet but they are also new along with the wires.

Unless the oil level is several inches too high, doubt it would get past rear seal into bellhousing, unless seal is poor. Why is oil overfilled? Could be gas or water. Try smelling - you'll soon recognise if it's gas (carb leaking). Otherwise, without starting motor, loosen drain plug. Water always sinks to bottom, so if there's any it'll come out first. Reckon your problem is gas leaking into sump though.
