TO-20 suggestions needed

In hind sight I should have started with this post to keep things shorter. I have a 20 with no chassis tag(suspect engine fire 3 paint jobs ago as upper steering housing is a little droopy on one side) and no engine block (cracked and thrown away before I came to own this). While searching for an engine block I decided to dissamble and repair/rebush/reseal everything. Before dissambly I had my wife tow me down the road with the garden tractor so I could check the pto/3pt. hyds.,gears etc.. It appears all is in working order (3pt lifts and holds a load, pto engauges and disengauges, trans and diff fluids look new) As with all of the projects in the barn, this one got a life of its own! It is now bare and stripped. On jack stands it is now ready for paint or the next step. I did not remove the 3pt. cover as nothing was leaking, but did dissamble everything in the 3pt.system. Steering box is dissambled for arm rebushing and resealing. Are there any common problems that I should deal with at this point, before paint and reassembly? Common for it to leak between the trans and diff housings(dry at this point)? This is not a show restoration, but a working rebuild as I intend to use it hard for quite a while. We have a small 5 acre lot with horses, and the honey-do list is long. Plowing,planting, fenceing and gradeing is only the start!
What else should I do at this point, or is it ready for reassembly, paint and the eternal search for an engine block?

Check the spindle bushings and spindles in the front end and the center pivot bushing. Also check the front end for cracks right next to the center pivot bushing. I don't know where you are located but there is a place near me that has quite a few Fergusons and may have a block. You may want to give them a call.
