MF 35 4cyl diesel crankshaft

HI everybody, I need a new crankshaft for my 35 but I am having trouble does anybody have a good second hand one or a new one with an engine rebuild kit, Also can you replace the old mf 32 4cyl diesel with a perkins 3cyl(and how).

The MF135 uses 3 cylinder Perkins. So if you can take a look at one, you might be able to see what you need to do. Probably need to borrow the front axle support casting, at least.

Can't for the life of me remember if you can change it to a Perkins or not, so have a look at one and see if the starter is in the same position on both engines as that will be a main factor in deciding if it will fit or not. That same engine was fitted in some John Deere and Allis D270 tractors it was also used in some Road vehicles made in UK no doubt some were exported to Australia, the Commer walk through cab Van was one and some light trucks, it is the same as a Leyland OE138 and then the OE160 engines but with some variations. I would think that the crank should be the same though, worth checking in to.

I would contact or visit old 20 dot com or Holland-Brand, both are in UK. I found bearings and such so might be best to call them. I think you could switch over to the Perkins but could not tell you how. Hope this helps. Happy New Year!!
