Source for rear rim

My TO-20 needs a new rear rim and I was wondering where others have purchased rims for their tractors. The one rear rim was replaced by previous owner where the valve stem exits towards the outside of the rim/tire. The rim that needs to be replaced, the valve stem exits to the inside of the rim/tire. I would guess that this is probably the original rim. Thanks!

Well, it is true that the valve is in or out depending on which way the rim is mounted. But, this is only half of the truth.

If the supplier put the valve hole on the wrong side, compared to the lugs where you bolt the outer part to the inner part, you will experience what you say, both wheels left and right is mounted the same way, but one valve comes out, the other goes in...

So, if you have two rims, and the valves are different on them, and you buy a new one, you will at least have two equal ones, but which one that will be is not for me to tell.

You can buy a 10-28 rim at TSC. My TSC has them in stock for a little over $100.00. Depending on how the tire is mounted determins where the valve stem is positioned either inside or out.

Start with your tractor tire dealer. Mine stocks many, can get what he doesn"t stock, and sells them cheaper than I can find elsewhere.

Miller tire dot com is a great place to buy reproductions of original rims and tires. They are located in extreme NW Ohio.
