I have a Holley 859-A carb. in my TEA-20.
Does somebody know the float level adjustment for this carb?

I have the specs for that carb. Mail me at:-
fergusontractors at tiscali dot co dot uk
and I will send it to you it is 4+ pages.
Float should be 9/16" plus or minus 1/32" from top face of carb bowl.

I believe you'll have to get at least an owners manual (preferably a shop manual)for your TEA to be able to get float setting spec. You can try it by trial an error if you can't wait to get the above info. As a guestimate, the fuel level should be about 1/2" (+/- 1/16")below the gasket level(the gasket that separates the top from the bottom of the carb). This is the setting for the M-S series of carbs for the TO's and the TE's.

To set the level, you have to carefully bend the metal piece between the floats and the hinge point. If the carb runs too rich, you need to lower the floats. If it runns too lean, you need to raise them. Sorry I can't be of more help.
