TO30 Clevis/Drawbar

For those of you that care� I finally found a Clevis for the old TO30 (got it from a salvage yard up north. It was in pretty rough shape so I�m in the process of rebuilding it. I had to replace the upper and lower ears on the clevis. Hopefully someday I�ll have everything I need to actually hook it up and use it. I still need to drill the hole for the pin and manufacture the drawbar. But here is what I have so far. This tractor stuff sure is fun! Anybody have a picture of the original pin that is used on this? I sure would like to see what it looks like.

I'm thinking that you meant the currently available drawbar, not the one Yseesee has...

See picture....

The Clevis (with pin) bolt to the bottom of the tractor and provides the horizontal pull point (not shown)

The rack that supports the swinging draw bar bolts to the rear of the case around the PTO. YOu remove the brackets and use the same four bolts. This supports the vertical load.

Jim. Under the back of my TEA-2085 I dont see a spot where you mount this type of draw bar, am I missing something? This type of draw bar will make a huge difference in hauling wood out of the back woods with my 2 wheel trailer. No more swaying from side to side. Just gotta find one and get it mounted

Barry, I don't know the details of the underside of your tractor... Maybe John(UK)can help. The parts listings that I can find for this hitch don't mention the TEA-2085 but my understanding was that many of the parts were the same as the TO-20 which is listed... Good luck.. Jim

Jim, Those draw-bars will fit all the TE20 models and the TO versions too. The draw-bars are advertised on this site in the parts section...John

Barry - The �Clevis� (the unpainted part) connects to the bottom of the rear differential using four 5/8� studs. The �Clevis� holds the �Drawbar� (not shown in the photo) and the �Guide Assembly� (the part that looks similar to a giant horseshoe) in place by a pin (not shown). The �Strut Assembly, Guide Support� (the two upright arms connected to the guide assembly) connects to the �Top Link� on the tractor. I decided to use this style drawbar versus the one that Jim in OH is talking about because I didn�t want to use an aftermarket drawbar (picture that Jim posted). I had the main part of the original style drawbar so I was on a quest to find or in this case make the missing parts. I�m just trying to keep the tractor as original as I can. Once I get the thing completely done I'll post some more pictures if you would like to see it. ---I�m not sure if this will hook up to the TEA-2085 or not. Check under the rear end of the TAE and see if there are four 5/8� holes. If so and the spacing is correct I wouldn�t see why it wouldn�t fit.
