Hi, We just recently got a TEA30 (I think), made in '53 and it came with a cargo tray and a FEL. Now we removed the cargo tray, and then tried to operate the FEL but there didn't seem to be enough presure to make it work, as soon as we hooked the cargo tray back, it was fine. Is this expected, or is there a problem here. Also the brakes on it are pretty shocking, I'm not mechanically orientated, but how easy is it to service the brakes.
Cheers

Matthew

You have to prevent the lower links of the tractor from rising the last 6" or it will shut off the pump and nothing will work. There is no such thing as a TEA30 it is a TEA, if you are in Canada it may be a TEA20/85 it is a Standard Motors engine 85mm bore, you may be getting mixed up with a TO30 made in USA, TE's were made in UK, basically same tractor but different engines. Not too bad for brakes, if you email me at:- fergusontractors (at) tiscali (dot) co (dot) uk I will send you the information and pictures, when you email tell me again what you need and what your tractor is and the serial number. In case you don't know that FEL you have is a Horndraulic
