TO 30 transmission

I have a TO-30 that I have a transmission question on. I don't have an owners manual, just a service manual and it doesn't tell me how to check the fluid in the transmission. I did find the dipstick on the right side and it's showing full. Now my question is does this indicate fluid level in the transmission or is it the rear end. Hard to tell by the palcement of the dipstick. Is the tranny, rearend and hydralics operated off the same fluid? I know I have seen a thread about the fluid # that NAPA sells but I can't seem to find the thread. Can anyone let me know what the part # is that NAPA sells? Thanks.

You can now use Multi-grade oil 15W - 30 for the transmission and hydraulics, this is better for all year round use if you are in a cold winter climate as it flows much more easily. It still needs changing every 12 months though no matter how much use it has had.

Yep. all one resevor. and that is the dip stick. The NAPA number is 65-205 for a 5 gallon bucket of 90wt GL-1 mineral oil.

oil fill is at the cap near the gear shift. if you fill put some in and give it 5 min. to level out. The fluid is thick and the dip stick is way back there. You can easily over fill if you rush.
