I have had my To-20 for over two years now and have never had problems with the lift on the tractor. Now for some reason the lift is going up real slow. If there is no load then it goes up and down as normal.

Any suggestions?

Check for free play in the Control Spring behind the seat. With an implement mounted and lifted you should just be able to turn the spring with your thumb and finger, if it is slack you need to take out the end play by adjusting the yoke on the rod to inside, but this maybe seized so don't try to force it or you will break something. If it is seized it will be necessary to remove the lift cover to hold the rod while you free off the adjuster yoke. Don't try this without detaching the control valve from the long fork or it will break. If you need information on how to do this email me at:-
fergusontractors at tiscali dot co dot uk and tell me again what you need. This is all providing the hydraulics do not drop under load as that would be a leak.

Harold, look at this link about 8N lift trouble shooting. The N has the same lift system (The Ferguson System), as your TO. This is one of the articles over on the left side of the screen.
