I also have a Ferguson tractor I purchased recently. The serial number is TE72760 which is in the range of other serial numbers on the registry that fit a 1948 TE20 FERGUSON. One serial number a fellow has is TE72742 for what he believes is a 1948 TE20. The other serial numbrers were a little higher but still was a 1948 TE20. Can anyone add any more input?

They are as you think all 1948 tractors, but they are also among the very last TE20's produced. The last one was TE48,000 officially but a small batch was produced MUCH,MUCH later for some reason although it is not normally known, but it is shown in the production records at that time.

Go to the left collum and drop down a couple of inches and find serial numbers. Click on it, then Ferguson, then TE-20, and you will find that your tractor is indeed a 48. I have a 48 also. Mine is 44925.

How do you know what model you have, my serial number is TO-15634, but I do not know if it is a TO20 or TO30.
