TO-20 Tire size

I just bought a "Basket case" TO 20 in pieces.
It has 14.9-28 on rear and 4.00-19 on the front for tires. Can any one tell me what is correct for this tractor, it is a 1949.
How about horsepower?

The TO 20 has 23.9 horsepower.

Original tire size was 10-28 on rear , 4.00-19 0n front. 14.9- 28 are way too large . There are some close replacements , Firestone makes an 11.2-28 that fits real nice . Check your rims , originals were 10 inches between beads , you may have a set of larger rims from a later or larger tractor . I still have my Dad`s TEA 20 from 1952 , it still pulls it`s weight on our farm.
