For me it isn�t so rare, but when i think harder
i found out this is the only working porsche
tractor i have seen..... . so they aren�t so common.They have both been sleeping for years,
and after their "beauty sleep" been awaked and "still going strong". My Ferguson is my grandfathers old tractor,
and it had been forgotten for ~15 years after my grandfathers death until i asked where it is,
my unkle had saved it in a barn and he
gave it to me two yeas ago as a birthday present
on my 29 years birthday, a have put it in order
bit for bit under two years, still waiting for
a paintjob, but i have built a house and haven�t
got the time for the tractor. The Porsche Standard was found in a "dung walley"
under a cowshed here in southern Finland,
it had barely no paint on it because the dung
had rusted the whole tractor.
It was left in the "dung walley" because
it had a bad battery, and they had left it running
while they had a lunch pause and it had run out
of Diesel fuel, they didn�t got it started
after that, when my neighbour brought it he
bleeded the fuel system and started it in the
"dung walley" with a fresch battery.
The old owner had been surprised. Here we have two tractor rescue stories from
