To35 wheel bearings

I noticed the other day that the front wheels have play when pushing them from side to side.
One is worse then the other.

Can they be adjusted or do they need replacing?

If so where does a man get them?

They are standard bearings available at most auto parts or bearing distributors and are easily adjusted. These are probably the most ignored parts on a tractor, so I would take this opportunity to clean and repack them rather than just adjust. I just done mine and they were so dry that one had to be replaced. According to the parts book, the only replacement dustcover that MF supplied has a grease zerk in it, so I drilled and put grease zerks in mine too. Takes half a tube of grease to fill each hub, but well worth it.

Is the play in the wheel bearings or the steering linkage or even the steering box. Jack the front up and check where the play is first, you may be able to adjust the wheel bearings if they are not too worn, tighten the nut up and then slacken off one castellation and refit the split pin.
