Does anybody/everybody but me have part #7 in the picture and the groove for it in the pto shaft?

If not, how did you keep part #6 on the shaft, turning, and not leaking?

I'm assuming you have a replacement shaft for your TO-20. I've never had my TO-30 PTO shaft out but if you don't have a snap ring groove in the shaft or the snap ring, I'd go back to where you bought the shaft and and tell 'em they sold you the wrong part. The Assembly should be part #181 169 M91 utilizing the 181 173 M1 shaft with groove and 181 184 M1 snap ring, and it's common to the TO -20, the TO -30 and the 2N and 9N Fords.
If you have the "original shaft" with this problem, I'd say the same thing;wrong part!

It is unusual that someone didn't come back with some help. This is a great forum, especially for those of us without a lot of tractor experience. I have never had my TO20 PTO shaft out so I can't help, but I'll bet there is someone who will.
